Columbia

1 month agoHonestly, my experience at Columbia has been pretty disappointing. The campus looks great, but that's where the positives end. The administration feels completely out of touch with student needs. Classes are overcrowded, making it hard to get the help you need. The professors can be hit or miss, with some being totally uninspiring. The cost of living in New York is crazy, and financial aid isn’t exactly generous. I expected a supportive community, but it often feels competitive and cutthroat. Good luck finding a quiet spot to study; the libraries are always packed. I thought this place would be a dream, but it’s been more of a nightmare. Overall, not what I hoped for at all.

1 month agoI have to say, my experience with Columbia's website has been pretty disappointing. First off, it's super confusing to navigate. I feel like I need a map just to find basic info! The loading times are painfully slow, which is frustrating when I'm in a hurry. And don’t even get me started on the search function; it’s practically useless. I often end up on pages that don’t even relate to what I’m looking for. Also, the layout looks outdated and cluttered. It desperately needs a makeover! I expected better from such a prestigious institution. Overall, it feels like a missed opportunity to provide an awesome online experience. Hoping they can turn things around soon!

1 month agoColumbia University is an incredible place that really knows how to blend tradition with modern innovation. The campus is stunning, with a mix of historic and contemporary buildings that create a vibrant atmosphere. The professors are top-notch, and they genuinely care about their students' success. Plus, the diverse student body means you'll always find someone interesting to chat with. However, the workload can be pretty intense, which might not be for everyone. Sometimes it feels like there's just too much going on, and juggling everything can be a challenge. The cost of living in New York City is also a bit steep, which can add stress to student life. Overall, though, Columbia offers a fantastic education and a unique experience that’s hard to beat. Definitely a 4-star experience!

1 month agoHonestly, I had high hopes for Columbia.edu, but it just didn't hit the mark for me. The navigation feels clunky, and I often find myself lost trying to find basic info. Plus, the loading times can be frustratingly slow, which makes browsing a chore. Some of the resources seem outdated, too, which is a bummer when I’m looking for current info. I appreciate the effort, but I wish it felt more user-friendly. It’s a bit of a hassle, and I expected better from such a prestigious institution. Overall, it’s okay, but it definitely needs some work to shine. I hope they make improvements soon!

1 month agoColumbia has its ups and downs. The campus is beautiful and the professors are generally great, but sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming. The resources are solid, yet I wish there was more support for students. Overall, a decent experience but not without its quirks!

1 month agoI really wanted to love my time at Columbia, but honestly, it fell a bit flat for me. The campus is beautiful, no doubt, but the experience overall just didn't live up to the hype. The classes can be hit or miss—some professors are fantastic, while others seem disinterested. Plus, navigating the bureaucracy is a real headache; it feels like you need a map just to figure out where to go for help. Student life can be pretty overwhelming too; there are so many events, but they often feel exclusive. I had high hopes for a vibrant community, but it sometimes felt a bit cliquey. The workload is intense, which I expected, but it left little room for a balanced social life. Overall, I think Columbia has potential, but my experience was just average. Here’s hoping they can turn things around!

1 month agoColumbia University has a lot going for it, but it’s not without its quirks. The campus is beautiful, and the location in NYC is fantastic for exploring. However, the classes can be hit or miss—some professors are amazing, while others leave a lot to be desired. The workload is intense, which is great if you're up for a challenge, but it can be overwhelming at times. Social life is decent, but it often feels like everyone is too busy studying to really connect. Overall, it’s a solid experience, just with a few bumps along the way. If you’re looking for prestige, you’ve got it here, but be prepared for the hustle!
